Tickets include entry into the hall and 10 vouchers per person unless stated otherwise. Children age 3 and under go free, but require a ticket (no vouchers included) to enter - you can book these online with the rest of your tickets.
All visitors, including children under 3 and carers, require vouchers to go on the rides and play stalls - if there are no vouchers included in your tickets, you can purchase these separately or share tickets amongst your visiting party.
Please note you can arrive at any time during your booked session - the time on your ticket is the opening time, but you can arrive later if you wish.
Please note we do not offer a Blue Light/NHS discount, and Young Scot cards must be Young Scot branded - the unbranded National Entitlement Card (NEC) is not accepted for the Young Scot discount.
ADVANCE BOOKING
Advance booking is strongly advised, and all tickets are booked for a specific day and are non-refundable - but if you book through the Carnival website, you can log into your order at www.seetickets.com/customerservice to swap the date of your visit if you need to. You can swap your dates up to the day of your visit (but not after), and if your new tickets are more expensive than the ones you originally booked, you will need to pay the difference to complete the swap. To make booking in advance better value for you, we've scrapped all booking fees, and the earlier you book, the cheaper your tickets will be.
ON THE DAY
Tickets purchased on the day of your visit (online or on the door) will be more expensive, so book before midnight the day before your visit to save. Tickets will be available on the door, subject to availability, however it is expected that some days will sell out, so please book online if possible.
VOUCHERS
All paid tickets include 10 vouchers per person unless stated otherwise. Children under 3 and carers who have free tickets require vouchers to ride - these can be booked online with your tickets, or purchased at the Carnival.
- One voucher per ride.
- Two vouchers per stall (please note some stalls only accept cash)
- Three vouchers for inflatable play (per child, up to the age of 12. Maximum height 1.5m)
- Each dodgem car has 2 seats, so if you wish to ride alone this will require 2 vouchers.
Vouchers can only be used on the day they are purchased, and are non-refundable.

- Additional vouchers can be purchased online or in the hall at £2 each or 5 for £8.
- Free tickets do not include ride vouchers - if a child under 3 or Essential Companion wishes to go on a ride, they will require vouchers. A discounted ticket for Essential Companions who wish to ride is also available.
- Discounts cannot be stacked or combined with any other offers.
- If booking a discounted Young Scot Card ticket, a valid Young Scot Card must be presented on entry. Please note this must be the branded Young Scot card - the unbranded National Entitlement Card (NEC) is not accepted. If you are unable to show your Young Scot card, you will need to purchase a full price ticket.
- If booking a Concession (60+) ticket, valid age ID (e.g. bus pass) must be presented on entry.
